
Principal - RAD Registered teacher, Certificate of Higher Education: Dance Teaching, AISTD (MTB)
Laura trained in Aberdeen with Karen Berry School of Dance before studying for three years at Stella Mann College of Performing Arts in London, graduating in 1999. Laura then danced professionally abroad for Rios Productions in Korea and Jose Montes in Portugal amongst others before settling back in Aberdeen and founding Flashdance in 2004.
Laura then gained teaching qualifications with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society for Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and enjoys nothing more than continuing her learning on regular and diverse courses, including becoming an Acrobatic Arts instructor in 2016.
The development of Flashdance and each individual pupil is always at the forefront of Laura’s mind and actions as the school continues to grow and evolve.

Teacher - BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance, ISTD DDE Tap & Modern
Amira trained at MPAA in London and has recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Performance. Alongside her degree, she completed her ISTD DDEs in Tap & Modern, her Street Jazz Associate qualification, and was awarded the ISTD Teacher Training Award at her graduation ceremony. She has also continued working through her ISTD examinations up to Advanced 2 in both Tap and Modern; gaining Distinctions in these.
She has trained in ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, jazz, commercial, pas de deux, Highland & musical theatre as well as singing and acting. Amira has worked with a range of industry professionals and assisted the creative team as Dance Captain on her 3rd year musical- Legally Blonde, her 3rd year agent showcase, 3rd year Christmas cabaret and summer show pieces.

Teacher - RAD RTS, BA Hons Dance Education, ISTD DDI, SDTA HB
Audrey trained at the Levena Taylor School of Dance in Inverurie, assisting and teaching classes in all genres. After studying with the Royal Academy of Dance, Audrey gained Registered Teacher status and graduated with a BA Hons in Dance Education. Audrey also achieved her DDI Modern with the ISTD and is a qualified SDTA Highland teacher.
As well a variety of experience teaching in several dance schools and community settings, Audrey has choreographed for the Inverurie Panto for many years as well as Lyric Musical Society, including choreographing Singing in the Rain, Annie, Sister Act and White Christmas at HMT.

Teacher - Trinity Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre, RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, A.I.S.T.D, I.S.T.D Diploma in Dance Education
Georgia trained at Danscentre before continuing her dance studies at Bird College in London from 2015-2018. She graduated from Bird College with a Diploma (Distinction) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre Performance. Georgia continued to live in London whilst auditioning and working as a freelance performer and then returned to Aberdeen to begin her teaching studies. Georgia holds the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies from the RAD and has also successfully gained the Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD.
